Edo Sensu x Katsushika Leather

The Tokyo Heritage: 400 Years ✕ 100 Years

For 400 years, Edo artisans have folded, stitched, and perfected the fan. For 100 years, Tokyo's finest leather craftsmen have shaped materials that last a lifetime.

We brought them together — for the first time.

Front: 0.3mm Ultra-Thin Leather

We used an "impossible" 0.3mm leather from Katsushika, Tokyo. It offers the timeless luxury and durability of leather, something never before achieved in the world of folding fans.

Back: Traditional Japanese Washi Paper

A Canvas of Tokyo’s Heritage.
Not only is the leather from Tokyo, but the Washi paper on the back is also locally crafted in Tokyo. This ensures the fan is a "100% Tokyo Masterpiece."

The Meaning Behind the Design.
In Japanese culture, every pattern carries a wish. Whether it’s for longevity, protection, or prosperity, the hidden designs on the Washi side turn this fan into a personal amulet (Omamori). When you carry this fan, you are carrying centuries of Tokyo’s spiritual wisdom.

Bridging Tradition and Modern Style

Designed for the Global Wardrobe.
Traditional paper fans are often seen as accessories reserved for Japanese attire. We changed that. By using premium leather, we’ve created a piece that seamlessly complements a tailored business suit, a casual leather jacket, or a modern evening dress. It is a stylish, high-end statement piece designed for a global, contemporary lifestyle.

A Legacy that Ages with You.
Unlike delicate paper, leather is durable and develops a unique "Patina" (rich character) the more you use it. It is not just a tool for cooling; it is "Functional Art" that grows more beautiful over time, bridging 400 years of history with your personal journey.
